Chilli Bowl. Barstow California 1993
I spotted the ‘Chilli Bowl’ sign in the distance from the freeway. Had a coffee and waited for the picture to come together. I loved the colours and styles of the truck and cafe and the landscape; but being panoramic waited for something to fill the right hand side. The Brown truck obliged, he came hammering in brakes on, creating a cloud of dust and beautifully balancing my composition
